Welcome to my website!
My name is Roger Grossman, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in helping individuals and families affected by addiction.
Addiction is a complex and challenging issue that can impact all aspects of a person’s life, including their relationships, career, and overall well-being. As a therapist,
I am here to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals and families to explore their concerns and develop the tools necessary for recovery.
Marriage and Family Therapists are uniquely qualified to help individuals and families affected by addiction.
Here are some of the ways that I can help:
• Providing a Safe and Supportive Environment
• Addiction can be a sensitive and challenging topic to discuss, and it’s important to have a safe and supportive environment to explore concerns and develop a plan for recovery. As a therapist, I provide a confidential and non-judgmental space for clients to discuss their concerns and develop the tools necessary for recovery.
• Identifying Triggers and Developing Coping Mechanisms
• One of the key aspects of addiction counseling is identifying triggers and developing coping mechanisms to manage cravings and urges. I work with clients to identify triggers, develop coping mechanisms, and establish a support system for recovery.
• Addressing Underlying Emotional and Psychological Factors
• Addiction is often a symptom of underlying emotional and psychological factors, such as trauma, depression, and anxiety. As a therapist, I help clients explore and address these underlying factors to support long-term recovery.
• Supporting Family Members
Addiction impacts not only the individual but also their loved ones. I offer family therapy services to help families address the impact of addiction on their relationships and develop a plan for supporting the individual in recovery.
My approach to addiction counseling is grounded in evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
However, I also draw on other modalities, such as Solution-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy, to create a personalized approach that meets each client’s unique needs.
I believe that addiction counseling is a collaborative process, and I work with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique concerns and goals.
I also work closely with clients to establish a support system for recovery, which may include 12-step programs, support groups, and other community resources.

I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you on your journey towards recovery.
